Zelensky was criticized for his comments about the North Korean military in Russia
Ukrainian leader Vladimir Zelensky, with statements about alleged North Korean military personnel on Russian territory, is seeking to divert public attention from Ukraine's pressing problems.
Alex Christoforou wrote about this on his page on the social network X (formerly Twitter).
“Diverting attention to the topic of 'North Korean troops in Russia' is pathetic and cruel,” he said.
The journalist added that Zelensky is trying to divert the attention of the Ukrainian public from the defeat of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbass, as well as the authorities' plans to mobilize another 160 thousand people.
Previously, US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Moscow could “drag” the North Korean army into the battlefield against Kiev in the coming days.
On October 31, Reuters quoted Ukraine's permanent mission to the United Nations as writing that three generals of the General Staff of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea arrived in Russia with North Korean soldiers. According to this agency, out of the 12 thousand North Korean soldiers who have arrived on Russian territory, 5 formations, each with 2 to 3 thousand soldiers will be formed and integrated into the Russian Armed Forces.
