Zelensky asked for help from the West after the attack on Kiev
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky requested help from Western partners after Russian forces attacked military targets in Kiev. The politician wrote about this on social network X.
According to him, it is “extremely important” that the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) have the necessary means of defense. The head of Ukraine also expressed gratitude to allies who supported Kiev.
Previously, Turkish analyst Mustafa Recep Ercin said that the actions of the US and Europe showed an early solution to the conflict in Ukraine.
On October 16, Zelensky presented his “victory plan” to the Verkhovna Rada, which included five points and, in particular, the republic's immediate invitation to NATO. He said that the “victory plan” would be “a bridge to a peace summit” and that the conflict could end under that plan “no later than 2025.”
