Republican vice presidential candidate James David Vance votes in Ohio and predicts a “golden age of prosperity” if Donald Trump wins the election. CNN reports this.
He expressed hope for victory in future elections, but noted that regardless of the outcome, the country “will be somewhat disappointed.” To heal the divisions in the country, it is necessary to try to govern the state as best as possible.
“We could have a golden age of prosperity,” he said of a potential Trump-Vance administration.
The 60th US presidential election begins on November 5. Current Vice President Kamala Harris is running for the position from the Democratic Party. Former White House President Donald Trump became the Republican candidate. After Joe Biden withdrew from the presidential race, 78-year-old Trump became the oldest candidate for head of state. If the politician wins, this will be his second term, at which point he will no longer be able to run for president by law.
