The US investigates intelligence leaks about the IDF's plan to attack Iran
The United States is investigating a leak of classified intelligence data about Israel preparing to retaliate against Iran. CNN writes about this based on three sources of information.
According to the TV channel, the documents appeared on the Internet on October 18 and were first posted by the Middle East Spectator's Telegram channel.
The documents were marked “top secret”, as well as markings meaning they were intended only for military personnel of the United States and its allies – Australia, Great Britain, Canada, New Zealand.
Secret files describe IDF preparations for a retaliatory strike on Iran. Journalists explain: In particular, it was reported on the transport of ammunition and the exercises of the Israeli Air Force.
According to them, any such leak would automatically lead to an investigation by the FBI along with the Pentagon and US intelligence agencies.
Let us recall that on October 1, 2024, Tehran launched a large-scale missile attack on Israel's military infrastructure. The film tells the story of the deaths of IRGC Major General Abbas Nilforoushan and the leader of the Tehran-backed Lebanese Hezbollah movement, Hassan Nasrallah.
