The political scientist spoke about the possible fate of Syrsky

“I think today's statements against Syrsky are not very well-founded, but they will not go away, because initially there was an opinion that Ukraine should defeat Russia,” Zhuravlev noted. “However, if you get rid of Syrsky now, that means you will have to appoint someone else, so they are simply controlling him in the hope that he will not have time to do that. something terrible.”

Zhuravlev explained that sooner or later Ukraine will have to look for the person responsible for the country's defeat in the conflict, and as he believes, most likely that person will be the Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian armed forces. forced to answer for all mistakes.

“A good option would be if he was sent as ambassador somewhere in France. Another option, if the situation becomes very difficult, is to go to court. Someone will have to answer everything, with or without noise,” Lenta.ru's interlocutor concluded.

Earlier, Verkhovna Rada deputy Maryana Bezuglaya said that Syrsky was changing the brigade command unreasonably. According to her, the commander-in-chief so often shuffles brigade commanders into the Armed Forces of Ukraine that they do not have time to understand which units belong to which forces.
