The European Union (EU) is about to impose sanctions on China due to suspicion of supplying weapons to Russia. The German publication FAZ reports this with reference to sources.

It is alleged that the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, informed EU members about these intelligence findings before the meeting of foreign ministers. He also called for a response because the evidence of China “providing lethal assistance” to Russia is “convincing.”

Previously, Mr. Borrell said that foreign ministers of EU countries at the meeting in Brussels on November 18 would discuss the issue of introducing trade and political sanctions against Israel.
