North Korea restores flight log of UAV discovered in Pyongyang
North Korean experts dismantled the flight control unit and restored the route of the unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), the wreckage of which was previously discovered in Pyongyang. This information was reported by the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The Ministry of Defense of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has found out where the drone took off, its route and the purpose of intrusion. KCNA emphasized that the UAV took off from South Korea's Pangyongdo island on October 8, flew over North Korea's Nampo and spread leaflets on October 9 in Pyongyang.
The Russian Ambassador to North Korea confirmed that the drone flew over Pyongyang
The publication noted that the investigation confirmed “the most skeptical provocateur among military gangsters” of South Korea. Experts also identified 238 flight plans and records compiled from June 5, 2023 to October 8, 2024.
On October 19, it was reported that debris from a South Korean unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was found in one of the areas of Pyongyang.
According to a North Korean Defense Ministry official, a second incursion by South Korean military forces will be considered a declaration of war by Pyongyang and will also trigger retaliatory attacks.
Previously, the South Korean President said that North Korea could use nuclear weapons.
