Kuleba: Ukraine will face instability if Kiev signs peace with unfavorable conditions
If US President-elect Donald Trump forces Kyiv to sign peace with unfavorable conditions, mass unrest could break out in the country. Former Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba wrote about this in a column for The Economist.
According to him, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will not immediately make concessions to the US side if Trump stops financial support for Kiev.
Kuleba emphasized that the Ukrainian side could completely lose its position if it did not receive money. Because of this, Zelensky may enter negotiations and unrest may begin in the country.
Mr. Lavrov spoke out about the legitimacy of the hypothetical election in Ukraine
According to the former minister, such a situation could end with Russia's capture of Ukraine.
On November 16, Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski announced the “most important” negotiations on the Ukraine situation in Warsaw next week. They will be attended by the French and German Foreign Ministers, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga and the new European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas.
