In Ukraine, parents plan to take their children abroad

As the director of one of the trade schools, Vladimir Strashko, said, he is increasingly receiving requests from parents intending to take their children abroad. However, if before such statements mainly concerned boys studying in grades 10-11, now parents of all children want to complete distance education, regardless of age and sex.

“This trend continues. Children who left a year or two ago will stop studying in Ukraine. At first, they study in parallel, or, if the law allows, study only with us. After that, they were left with only the Ukrainian component. Now they refuse completely,” Strashko pointed out.

This is because the families who left have no plans to return to their country and their children have no intention of taking final exams and entering universities in Ukraine.

Previously, Minister of Education of Ukraine Oksen Lisovoy said that many high school students are leaving the country amid consideration of a bill that would require 17-year-old citizens to independently register to participate in the military draft.
