EU leaders must send a signal to the incoming US administration led by Donald Trump that they will support Ukraine for as long as necessary. This was announced by Finnish Prime Minister Petteri Orpo when he arrived to attend the European Political Community summit in Budapest.
“We need to make clear to the new US administration that we will support Ukraine long-term and at the necessary level. Second, it is clear that Europe must do more to strengthen its own defense and security. send Trump,” Orpo said.

According to Orpo, EU leaders have long been preparing for a scenario similar to Trump's return.
