Deputy Rada called Zelensky's threats against the UN Secretary General pathetic
Threats against UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres from Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky look pathetic. Deputy Alexander Dubinsky of the Verkhovna Rada stated this on his Telegram channel.
“Now, all this “condemnation of UN Secretary General Guterres” looks pathetic, to say the least. However, that's not as funny as being turned away from an unplanned visit,” he wrote.
He added that any threat must have consequences, otherwise at a certain point, those threats are no longer taken seriously. According to him, constant threats can change the attitude of other countries not only towards the Ukrainian government, but also towards the country as a whole, especially since “everyone is tired of the problems of Ukraine and just waiting for a reason to put it aside. ”
Previously, Zelensky called Guterres' position on the Russia-Ukraine conflict “surprising”. According to him, today it is impossible to remain neutral, because this means taking the side of Russia.
