Court suspends election interference case against Trump
The special prosecutor in the election interference case against Donald Trump warned that the court will have to take into account the results of the last election.
“The government respectfully requests that the court cancel the current deadline and schedule of preliminary hearings so that the government can evaluate the unprecedented circumstances,” RIA Novosti quoted the content of the petition.
On the contrary, the court ruled that before December 2, the prosecutor's office will provide a report on its further actions.
Trump had previously informed the court of his refusal to admit guilt in the election interference case.
