The US Treasury Department removed Prominvestbank Ukraine from sanctions
The US Treasury Department on Wednesday, October 30, removed Ukrainian bank Prominvestbank from sanctions. This comes from an announcement on the Ministry's website. At the same time, the same document states that the United States has imposed restrictions on dozens of individuals and legal entities, including from Russia, China, Türkiye, Chile, Greece and several other countries. Prominvestbank, registered in Ukraine, was included in the list of banks subject to US sanctions in 2015. It later belonged to Russia's state-owned Vnesheconombank. Also on October 30, it was reported that the US Department of Commerce had tightened export controls for Russia and Belarus. It should be noted that 9 important chemical ingredients used to create riot control agents and chemical weapons are on the US sanctions list.
