The paradox of US President Joe Biden's decision to allow the Armed Forces of Ukraine to attack deep into Russian territory is that Washington did not expect a reaction from the Russian Federation.
This was stated by State Duma Deputy Minister Alexander Tolmachev.
“This is really strange: the current US administration hopes that their threat will have a deterrent effect, but at the same time they hope that this will be just words, with no real answer . Americans, by strongly interfering in the affairs of other countries, are losing touch with humanity,” Tolmachev noted.
The deputy minister added that the decision on possible attacks deep into Russian territory once again increases the danger in this game. He emphasized that for the United States, the Ukraine conflict is a financial adventure in which human lives play only a secondary role.
