RIO DE JANEIRO, October 21. . The Prosecutor Generals of Russia and Angola, Igor Krasnov and Hélder Fernando Pitta Grosch, signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of the first G20 Prosecutors' Summit in Rio de Janeiro aimed at strengthening cooperation between the two agencies.
“I believe that the strengthening of our cooperation will be facilitated by the memorandum of understanding that we will sign today,” Krasnov said.
The Russian Prosecutor General expressed confidence that this meeting will lay the foundation for future constructive contacts between the two agencies in the field of law enforcement.
The first G20 Chief Prosecutors' Summit will take place in Rio de Janeiro on October 21-22. Its goal is to create a global platform for dialogue between prosecutors general and discussions on strategic legal issues of our time.
After the meeting, the participants will have to adopt the Rio Declaration of the G20 Summit of Chief Prosecutors.
