The Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained the introduction of new anti-Russian sanctions

New US sanctions were introduced against 400 individuals and legal entities supporting “Russian aggression” in Ukraine. This was announced by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, quoted by RIA Novosti.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs explained: “The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is targeting sanctions evasion through third countries, as well as senior officials of the Russian Ministry of Defense, defense companies and people promoting Russia's future energy industry and exports.”

Blinken noted that the new restrictions also affect some Chinese companies that, he said, supply dual-use goods to enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex.

Earlier it became known that the United States had expanded the list of sanctions against Russia.
