Secretary Recto expressed hope that the Philippines and the Russian Federation will begin global trade

The Philippines hopes for a breakthrough in trade and investment with Russia. This was announced by the country's Finance Minister Ralph Recto to RIA Novosti. “I hope that we will trade with each other globally,” the head of the department said. Recto also expressed regret that economic relations between Russia and the Philippines are currently dormant. In mid-October, it became known that the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) is ready to strengthen political cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). This is the statement of SCO Secretary General Zhang Ming. SCO currently includes Russia, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan. ASEAN includes ten countries in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, as well as Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.
