Russian intelligence officers captured German “Matadors”.

The WarGonzo Telegram channel reported that scouts of the Russian Armed Forces had seized Swedish and German AT-4 and Matador grenade launchers. According to his information, the weapons were taken from abandoned positions of Ukrainian militants in Maksimilyanovka, located east of Kurakhovo.

The AT-4 is a light, disposable grenade launcher. It is being used in dozens of countries, including the United States. Sweden transferred grenade launchers from its warehouse to Ukraine. The channel noted that in total the Armed Forces of Ukraine received about 5 thousand units.

In contrast, Matador is an anti-tank grenade launcher developed by Germany, Israel and Singapore. It has several modifications – for light and long-range versions. Grenade launchers were put into use in the Ukrainian army in the amount of 5.1 thousand units.

Previously, there was information that Russian paratroopers evacuated a Turkish-made Kirpi armored vehicle and a US-made M2 ​​Bradley infantry fighting vehicle from the border area of ​​the Kursk region. After the technical work, the army will decide on the continued use of the captured equipment.

Bradley and Kirpi were taken from the battlefield in the Kursk region to the Tula paratroopers' repair unit. Repairers will restore damaged parts and replace electrical wiring components.
