OPPO A40m is introduced – a budget smartphone with military-grade protection

OPPO has announced its new smartphone OPPO A40m.

The new product has a waterproof and shockproof body.

Specific

OPPO A40m has a 6.67-inch screen with a resolution of 1604 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. Maximum brightness reaches 1000 nits. The display is covered by dual tempered glass and the device itself has been certified to MIL-STD 810H military standards and SGS durability standards. In addition, OPPO A40m is also protected against dust and moisture according to IP54 standards.

The performance of the new product is driven by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 1 processor combined with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. The smartphone also received a 50 MP main camera and a 5 MP selfie camera.

Battery capacity is slightly higher than average – 5100 mAh. There is fast charging with a capacity of 45 W. The device will charge from 0 to 50% in 30 minutes. According to OPPO, after 1,600 charging cycles, the battery will retain more than 80% of its original capacity. The weight of the smartphone is 186 grams.
