Hainan Airlines launched flights from Haikou, China to Dubai in November

HAIKOU /China/, October 22. . Chinese airline Hainan Airlines plans to operate flights from Haikou city (Hainan province, Southern China) to Dubai from November 15. This was reported by Hainan Daily.

According to her, flights on the new route will be carried out twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays. This will be Hainan Airlines' second flight from Haikou to the UAE: the airline currently operates flights from the Chinese city to Abu Dhabi.

The document emphasizes that Haikou is connected to other cities in the region and the world by a developed flight network. For example, Hainan Airlines currently operates flights from the Chinese city to Moscow, Abu Dhabi, Bangkok, Hong Kong, London, Macau, Melbourne, Auckland, Sydney, Singapore, Seattle, Ho Chi Minh City and a number of other cities.

On June 1, 2020, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council of the People's Republic of China announced the program to establish a free trade port in Hainan. The document provides for the establishment of a special customs zone on this tropical island. Chinese authorities plan to complete the construction of a free port in the province by 2025, when a system to ensure free trade and investment is built on the island. By 2035, Hainan plans to ensure freedom of trade and investment, cross-border capital movement, immigration of people and transport of goods.

In 2023, more than 90 million Chinese and foreign tourists visited Hainan province, an increase of 49.9% over 2022.
