Alexey Zhuravlev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Defense Committee, said Russia should respond to US sanctions by banning the supply of titanium to the aviation industry.

The Deputy Minister added that the Russian Federation has spoken out about the possibility of introducing other restrictions.

“At least the supply of titanium should be banned, without it the aviation industry cannot exist. But so far only the United States itself does this,” Zhuravlev told NEWS.ru.

As the Parliamentary Gazette wrote, the US authorities have introduced export restrictions on 13 Russian companies.
