The post-apocalyptic Showa American Story will premiere in 2025

Showa American Story, which combines elements of RPG, romance and a post-apocalyptic setting, will be released on PlayStation 5 and PC in 2025. This was announced in a new five-minute trailer .

It introduces a new boss – the 6 meter tall Shogun on a large giraffe-like riding horse. He can fly and use his large shield as a weapon against the player. Additionally, more gameplay footage was shown.

Players will journey through a post-apocalyptic America as Chuko Chigus, fighting zombies and other creatures using a variety of weapons. The trip will include cities such as New Yokohama (Hollywood), San Francisco, Las Vegas and Neo-Tokyo 4 (Austin, Texas).

Previously, the developers also announced a version for PS4, but then refused to release the game on the previous generation of Sony consoles.

There will be more games in the post-apocalyptic world by 2025. As such, the action role-playing movie Atomfall is expected to come out in March.
