The Last of Us game director Neil Druckmann 'has been working on a new game since 2020'

Naughty Dog CEO Neil Druckmann attended the Jewish Visionaries in Gaming event, during which he addressed his new game.

So, according to Druckmann, he has been working on a new game since 2020. That same year, we recall, The Last of Us: Part II was released. The developer even joked that “Sony doesn't let him decide when and how to announce the game”.

Druckmann's announcement could mean that Naughty Dog's next game is on the way. But we do know that the studio is working on multiple games at once, and some of them are single-player projects.

Druckmann, in turn, has proven himself not only in the game but also on TV. In the spring of 2025, the second part of The Last of Us will be released, the developer has already filmed an episode.
