The horror Phasmophobia has sold over 20 million copies on PC and consoles
Developers from Kinetic Games announced that they have reached an important milestone – the circulation of the cooperative horror game Phasmophobia has exceeded 20 million copies. Both sales on PC, where the game was released in 2020, and circulation of versions for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series are taken into account – the horror game appeared there on October 29, right after adding new items for Halloween.
In honor of reaching the milestone, the developers gave away a gratitude postcard to all players and an image of a blood moon. Meanwhile, gamers who haven't yet purchased Phasmophobia are urged to do so – the horror game is being offered at a discount on Steam as part of the Halloween sale. It will last until the evening of November 4.
Gamers also congratulated the developers and noted how fun it was for them to play Phasmophobia. The game received extremely positive user reviews on Steam. They praised the unique experience of cooperative interaction and their efforts to protect themselves from ghosts using improvised objects.
By the way, Phasmophobia is still in early access. At the time of full release, the developers want to update the hunting mechanics, add new ghosts, interactions, etc. Going forward, the horror title will also continue to receive content updates.
