The first add-on for Astroneer receives a trailer with a release date

System Era Softworks has announced that Astroneer: Glitchwalkers, the first expansion pack for the open-world space adventure, will be released on November 13.

This add-on adds a new planet, Eoluz, to the game that the developers call “the largest and most complex to date.” On it, the player will have new biomes and challenges – he will have to fight a rogue astronaut who has entered the system and taken control of it.

Glitchwalkers will also have a new tech tree and new modules. Players will have to apply their knowledge to adapt well to dangerous environments. For example, glitch storms will appear in the game and astronauts will have to avoid being “hacked” by these digital storms to successfully complete their missions.

Along with the expansion, Astroneer will receive a free update that adds new story elements and new mechanics.
