Recall that Ubisoft is officially returning to the Rayman series with Ansel as a consultant. And if the first part of the news received a positive response, the second part faced some criticism.

The truth is that after Ansel left the industry, the French publication Libération published documents accusing the game designer of having ineffective and “toxic” work ethics. Ansel himself later stated that such accusations were lies.

Now that it is known that the developer is returning to work with Ubisoft, there are hints online that not all of the company's employees are happy with the news. Ansel did not ignore these comments and expressed his desire to publicly discuss with the authors of the “hate” statements that are coming his way. In addition, he is willing to go to court if necessary.

He also advised seeking justice for all of the company's victims (not his own), instead of sharing unverifiable information with YouTubers and journalists.

“To all the victims, let's seek justice together instead of anonymously contacting YouTubers or journalists who are just waiting for an opportunity to promote their channels and boost their egos, so they grabs information that cannot be verified, presents it through interesting editing and trendy jokes, – spoke up Ansel.

Speaking specifically about Rayman, Ansel admitted that he was excited about the series' return and that he was asked for advice. Unfortunately, he did not go into detail.

Ansel also expressed hope that the disbanded team of Metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will one day be able to get back together and create a “very worthy” sequel. According to him, the success of such projects is “associated with the birth of a strong team”.

“It is priceless. Maybe one day the leadership will understand this!” – Ansel said.

Ansel himself continues to pursue personal projects studying wildlife and animals around the world. As for the Rayman revival, the project itself is in its early stages – according to rumors, it could be a remake of the original Rayman.
