Larian Studios reaches Baldur's Gate 3 console players with over 100 mods
Larian Studios is working on a hotfix for the console versions of Baldur's Gate III to help improve the game for fans of the mod. More specifically, for enthusiasts who have installed more than 100 mods.
The said hotfix will be released “in the near future” and will fix issues of “instability, performance degradation, and crashes when playing with over 100 mods” on consoles.
Currently, the developers advise against completing Baldur's Gate 3 with so many modifications.
An upcoming hotfix will make saves with over 100 mods temporarily unplayable. The restriction will be lifted in the next patch which will return access to saves “after removing some existing mods”. Other saves (no more than 100 mods) will not be affected.
Official support for mods for Baldur's Gate 3 on consoles appeared in October.
