Hearthstone will host a crossover with StarCraft in January 2025
The creators of the card game Hearthstone have announced an upcoming crossover with the StarCraft universe, which will take place in January 2025.
Fans can look forward to a new deck featuring characters from the popular series – Heroes of StarCraft, which will add 49 cards for the three galactic factions.
Each hero in Hearthstone is assigned to their own faction. For example, Death Knights, Demon Hunters, Hunters and Mages have joined the Zerg – the latter group is led by Sarah Kerrigan, who has received her card.
The Protoss faction is led by Artanis, who wants to return glory to his people. Druids, magicians, priests and robbers join his cause.
Jim Raynor, as expected, became the “commander” of the Terran faction, which included knights, mages and warriors. Terrans can still command warships using the mechanics introduced in the latest expansion The Great Dark Beyond.
Additionally, the game will feature new StarCraft-themed theme music – details on other maps will be revealed closer to the set's release.
Previously, Blizzard released remasters of Warcraft and Warcraft 2: Tides of Darkness, and also created an update for Warcraft III: Reforged.
Additionally, new content for World of Warcraft has been introduced – new items will appear in both WoW: Classic and WoW: The War Within.
