Gabe follower: the making of Half-Life 3 was restarted before the release of Half-Life: Alyx
Half-Life 3 will be the culmination of 10 years of Valve's work. The famous data miner, nicknamed Gabe Watcher, talked about this in his new video. According to him, Valve once again restarted the development of Half-Life 3 just before the release of Half-Life: Alyx.
The main highlight in Half-Life 3 will be the random generation of objects at locations, advanced simulation of physics and weather phenomena. Planets with their own gravitational fields would appear in the world of Xena. Objects on the map will have realistic deformation models that take into account various parameters such as temperature.
Enemy AI will automatically adapt to the environment. Their physical and 3D models will involve segmentation. A surreal image of hair and fur is promised.
The plot of Half-Life 3 will begin with a rewrite of the ending of Episode Two, which was edited in Half-Life: Alyx. The character Eli Vance, who was killed in the original version, will become a key figure in humanity's fight against the forces of the Alliance.
Valve has done a lot to explain the influence of the Xen world on the world of earthlings. In particular, Half-Life 3's story will show that crystals from the world of Xen serve as the power source for Gordon's gravity gun and Alex's gravity gloves.
Maybe in the third part, Gordon will receive enhanced gravitational weapons containing the green energy of the Vortigaunts, allowing players to control not only individual objects, but also entire areas of surrounding space.
