Full specifications of PlayStation 5 Pro revealed before the device hits shelves
There are just a few days left until the PlayStation 5 Pro hits shelves – it goes on sale on November 7. However, a few people have already been able to get their hands on the coveted device and are sharing more details. For example, the full specifications of the improved console have been revealed.
Processor – x86-64-AMD Ryzen Zen 2, 8 cores, 16 threads;
Graphics chip – RDNA chip with 16.7 teraflops performance;
RAM – GDDR6 16 GB (for working with graphics) + DDR5 2 GB (for working with the operating system);
Power – 390 W;
For data storage – 2 TB SSD.
For comparison, the standard PlayStation 5 can deliver 10 teraflops. According to Sony, rendering on PS5 Pro will be 45% faster due to increased power.
And another user who received the PS5 Pro spoke about one of the features of the internal structure of the console. When you remove the side panel, you can immediately find the motherboard's CMOS battery compartment. Sony engineers decided to simplify its accessibility for ordinary gamers – all you need to replace it is a screwdriver and a new battery.
