DLSS 3 will increase the frame rates of STALKER 2 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle

Nvidia talked about what awaits owners of GeForce RTX 40 series video cards in the near future. For example, the use of various technologies in STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, which will significantly increase the quality and performance of the PC shooter.

From the game's release on November 20, players will be able to take advantage of DLSS 3 frame generation and upscaling at 4K resolution and the maximum parameters of all settings in STALKER 2 with the DLSS 3 function enabled, the frame rate has increased. The average is 2.4 times. For example, on the GeForce RTX 4070 video card, the value increases from 30 FPS to 70 FPS. But on the most powerful GeForce RTX 4090 we exceeded 120 frames per second.

If you limit yourself to 2K resolution, then on the RTX 4090 you can reach up to 145 FPS. At Full HD (1080p), enabling DLSS 3 increased the frame rate by an average of 1.9 times – on all video cards from RTX 4060 and above, the FPS value increased above 60. Players can also enable Nvidia Reflex to reduce latency. And just before the release of STALKER 2, a driver update will appear that will help prepare for the release of the shooter.

Additionally, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be released on November 19. The flight simulator is expected to feature a gentleman's suit:

• Generate frames using DLSS 3;
• DLAA for better anti-aliasing;
• Nvidia Reflex to reduce latency;
• Realistic shadows use ray tracing.

Another upcoming game, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, will be released with useful technologies from Nvidia. To date, it is only known about the availability of DLSS 3. In addition, buyers of several video cards, including GeForce RTX 4070, will be given an expanded version of the game for free – they will be able to catch Start playing with it. 3 days before release, which will take place on December 9. The generous promotion will last until December 29.

And now the increased resolution thanks to DLSS is available in the action game Mortal Rite. And in the farm simulator Farming Simulator 25 released today, you can also increase the resolution with DLSS and use DLAA technology. The latter is needed to improve image quality, not to improve performance.

Also starting today, Nvidia graphics card users will be able to download the Nvidia App, which brings together all the key programs and features for the best graphics card experience. The application will be able to update drivers promptly and help install GeForce NOW and Nvidia Broadcast.
