Development studio Lies of P has invested $8 million in veteran CD Projekt Red

Korean company Neowiz, which released Lies of P and Sanabi, will be the publisher of the debut project of Polish studio Zakazane (“Forbidden”). The studio was founded by former employees of CD Projekt Red (The Witcher, Cyberpunk 2077) and 11bit Studio (This War of Mine and Frostpunk).

Neowiz has invested approximately $8 million in the Zakazane project. This is not the company's first such investment: a year ago, Neowiz invested about $17 million in Polish studio Blank.Game, which is creating its debut post-apocalyptic game.

Zakazane is currently working on an untitled noir-western game for PC and consoles, set in the American Wild West.
