Continuing Stalker and the new game from the author of Silent Hill: what to play in November
November is usually a pretty busy month for the gaming industry, and 2024 is no exception. Gamers can look forward to exciting projects of all calibers, not to mention the most anticipated releases of the past few years. We'll tell you what you can play in November on PC and consoles.
November 5 – Metal Slug Tactics
Metal Slug Tactics is the return of the hit Metal Slug franchise in the form of turn-based tactics. Players will have to assemble a team of mercenaries from the heroes of previous games in the series and participate in a lot of skirmishes: the developers promise 110 hand-drawn maps, 36 types weapons, references to classics, and tons of content.
November 7 – Metro Awakening VR
New subway – now in VR! Metro Awakening tells the story of a doctor who must make a dangerous journey through the tunnels of the capital's subway in search of his wife. Exceptional attention to detail and survival mechanics, such as changing gas mask filters and charging flashlights, sparkle with new colors in VR. A virtual reality headset is required to play.
November 7 – Empire of ants
A gift for RTS lovers. In Empire of the Ants, players will lead a colony of ants to conquer new territories, gain food sources, and form alliances with other animals. According to the developers, the game's plot is based on the book “The Ants” by Bernard Werber – a bonus for those who read the original.
November 7 – Goat Simulator remastered
The only goat simulator to be fully re-released. Goat Simulator Remastered not only includes many graphical and mechanical updates, but also includes all of the content released for the original game. This means it's possible to cause chaos across at least five spacious maps.
November 8 – Slitterhead
Slitterhead is the new project of Keiichiro Toyama, author of Silent Hill, Siren and Gravity Rush. And it promises to be as eccentric as the game designer's previous works. Players will take on the role of a parasite living on humans to identify and destroy terrible monsters that threaten humanity. The project is quite budget-friendly but shouldn't be overlooked by fans of Toyama's work.
November 12 – Antonblast
Antonblast is a vibrant classic platformer, much like last year's hit Pizza Tower, inspired by the Wario Land series. Dynamite Anton wants revenge on Satan himself, so he must go to the end of each level, set off explosives – and return before time runs out. Dynamic gameplay, excellent pixel art, and music are a balm to the souls of fans of the genre.
November 12 – Rise of the Golden Idol
Perhaps, hardly anyone thought that the independent detective story The Case of the Golden Idol would have a sequel – but it will be released soon. The Rise of the Golden Idol will tell about the events of our time: the cursed golden idol has arrived today, which means that complex problems, plots and betrayals await. wait for the player.
14 days — Sorry, we're closed
Nostalgic indie horror film, vaguely reminiscent of a cross between Silent Hill and Killer7 from Suda51. The main character of Sorry We're Closed is cursed by a demon – a third eye that literally appears on the girl's forehead, capable of seeing a distorted, rusty world full of monsters. And players will not only have to find a way to escape the curse, but also save the lives of the heroine's loved ones.
November 20 – Stalker 2: Heart of Chernobyl
And at the end of the month, perhaps the most anticipated game of the year will be released. The continuation of “Stalker” promises to be extremely ambitious and, judging by the first reviews from journalists, the developers for the most part have fulfilled their task well. We can only hope that the performance and stability of the released version will not be affected.
