Capcom has announced the start of the Monster Hunter Wilds open test with full in-game rewards

Capcom held a Monster Hunter Wilds showcase. It shows a new three-minute trailer. The video pays special attention to the gameplay: traveling through different locations on mounts and on foot, as well as battles with giant monsters. You can also watch cinematic scenes.

At the same time, the exact date and time of the open test were revealed. It will be held on all platforms: on PC on Steam, as well as on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. For everyone, the open beta starts on November 1 at 06:00 Moscow time – you can enjoy the game until the morning of November 4. At 5:59 Moscow time, access Access to the open beta test will be closed.

Players on PlayStation 5 with a PS Plus subscription will get early access to the beta. It will start on October 29 at 06:00 Moscow time and will last until the start of beta testing for everyone.

The purpose of the test is to give players the opportunity to experience a limited portion of Monster Hunter Wilds and test the technical aspects. During beta testing, the official character editor will be available, similar to the release version. The created hero will thus be transferred to the full version, which will be released on February 28, 2025. You just need to buy the game from the same account that was used to participate in the beta test.

Sites participating in the open beta are currently unavailable. They will appear later on the game's official website. For participating in the test at the time of release of the full version, you will be given a unique pendant and a set of items.

In Monster Hunter Wilds' story mode, beta players will be able to watch the opening cutscene and participate in the hunt for two monsters. You can do this alone or in cooperation with other players – you just need to use flares while completing any mission. Cross-play between all platforms is also supported.

Monster Hunter Wilds pre-orders are now open. The game was nominated for the title of most anticipated new product.
