Blogger compares 3 cheap modern gaming laptops
YouTube channel blogger StealthGamer SG tested Lenovo LOQ, Acer Nitro 5 and Acer Aspire 7 gaming laptops to find out which is better for gaming. Ferra.ru has drawn attention to this.
Tested using Lenovo LOQ 83FQ0009IN laptop with Intel i5-12450HX and Intel Arc A530M 4 GB video card, Acer Nitro 5 AN515-57 with Intel i5-11400H and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 4 GB, as well as Acer Aspire 7 A715-79G with Intel i5-13420H processor and RTX 2050 6 GB.
Thus, in God of War Ragnarok, at low graphics with DLSS “Quality” and frame generation enabled, GTX 1650 showed 62 fps, RTX 2050 – 74 fps, and ARC A530M – 69 frames / second.
In Horizon Forbidden West, at very low graphics with “Quality” DLSS, GTX 1650 produced 38 fps, RTX 2050 – 39 fps, and ARC A530M – 33 fps. The average frame rate in Red Dead Redemption II with high preset on GTX 1650 is 40 fps, on RTX 2050 – 44 fps and on ARC A530M – 44 fps.
Hogwarts Legacy with average graphics quality GTX 1650 shows 44 FPS, RTX 2050 – 47 FPS, ARC A530M – 41 FPS. “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt” on the average chart shows results of 53 fps (GTX 1650), 52 fps (RTX 2050) and 40 fps (ARC A530M). GTA V ran at 77 FPS (GTX 1650), 98 FPS (RTX 2050), and 98 FPS (ARC A530M) at medium-high settings. Alan Wake II at the low preset ran at 22 fps on the GTX 1650, 21 fps on the RTX 2050, and 23 fps on the ARC A530M. In Ghost of Tsushima, at very low graphics settings, all three laptops averaged 46 frames per second.
Judging by testing, the ARC A530M shows results on par with its competitors in some games, while the RTX 2050 is the undisputed leader in most cases, outperforming the competition by 9 % of average FPS.
