Blizzard, the creator of Warcraft and StarCraft, is creating a new open-world shooter

A vacancy has opened on the Blizzard Entertainment website for the position of Vice President of Innovation Design. And the project they're looking to staff is an unannounced open-world shooter.

Many users immediately assumed that we were talking about the revival of the StarCraft series.

Not long ago, Jason Schreier talked about Blizzard supposedly “incubating” a shooting game based on the StarCraft universe. The project is led by former Far Cry series head Dan Hay. A new vacancy gives hope that the game won't be canceled (if it even gets one) and development continues.

Of course, there are also suggestions that Blizzard could make a shooter based on Warcraft or Overwatch 3 (:))
