Black Ops 6 Beginner Tips: Multiplayer Basics
The new Call of Duty is here—fans of the immortal series can look forward to a year of updates, patches, and multiplayer battles. At launch, Black Ops 6 received 16 brand new maps and 33 weapon types, not to mention a slew of new mechanics. Gamespot portal has shared tips for those who are about to participate in Black Ops 6.
Practice your multi-motor skills
Black Ops 6 may be a fairly basic ground-based shooter, but it has the most advanced movement mechanics since the rocket-era sci-fi Call of Duty. Luckily, the game allows you to start a training course at any time to learn the basics of parkour mechanics and practice.
Change settings
Black Ops 6 offers more customization than any previous Call of Duty title. For example, the “smart movement” option lets you automate many basic actions, while other options let you disable sprint delay or reduce the number of taps needed for some certain action. Additionally, Black Ops 6's default graphics settings don't work well for multiplayer matches. Try turning off blur, grain, and depth of field to increase visibility.
Listen and communicate with teammates
In Black Ops 6, you should play with headphones: high-quality surround sound will help you listen to your opponents' moves and navigate the map based on noise. In addition, the headset's microphone will help you communicate with your team – in modes where you need to complete certain goals, this is very important. If you don't want to communicate by voice at all, at least leave a mark on your teammates. The game allows you to mark locations and enemies to warn your allies.
Play in groups
Even seasoned Call of Duty veterans can't lead their team to victory alone, especially if there's no one to complete objectives or share information. Try to play with at least one or two friends to increase your chances of winning.
Customize your unloading
Weapon customization in Black Ops 6 works extremely conveniently. As you upgrade and unlock attachments, you will be able to save collected weapons to loadouts, which will be available in all game modes. Yes, even in Zombies and Warzone when Black Ops 6 integrates battle royale.
Choose your chain rewards wisely
Unlike two years ago, Black Ops 6 rewards players for scoring goals, not kills. This means players are not punished for dying: instead, the game rewards teamwork. Kills also earn points, but they can also be earned by capturing and holding targets, calling drones, using support equipment, etc. Furthermore, it is especially worth noting that reconnaissance aircraft unmanned aerial vehicles – they, as weapons against enemy equipment, bring many special features.
