Bagel The Rogue Prince of Persia received a major patch with a medal rework
The developers from Evil Empire have released the ninth major Risk & Reward update for the roguelike The Rogue Prince of Persia. It is available for download on PC via Steam. One of the new features is “rescue” – a test in which players must save a little girl from enemies. To do this, you will have to use all your skills in platforming and parkour.
The developers call the new gameplay style “side missions”, which will appeal to those who require a higher level of challenge. Rescue missions will appear in a random biome – to miss them, you just need to not respond to the mission for a few seconds. Only one girl can be saved in a race.
But the “main dish” in Evil Empire is called the redesigned medal system. Players have more freedom when creating structures, which increases replayability. Potentially, you can equip up to 12 medals in a single run without strict limitations. You can get medals for killing people and can also find them on altars or in chests.
Players can also store medals in their pockets. You'll really need space as the update has brought 50 new medals to The Rogue Prince of Persia.
“Dessert” is a book about the world of the rogue Prince of Persia and its inhabitants. It is worth noting that to get the book you need to pass many tests. Not without fixing various errors. You can see the full list of changes on the game page.
Let us remind you that the roguelike The Rogue Prince of Persia was released in early access at the end of May. Alas, its online peak could not boast of success and rarely exceed 50 people in 24 hours. However, the game received very positive user reviews on Steam.
