5 new games on Steam you might have missed

Death Note The killer inside

There have been games based on the Death Note anime before, mostly on Nintendo's handheld platforms, but Killer Inside is the first based on the franchise on PC. The authors decided to make a project in the genre of social reasoning, which has become popular in video games thanks to Among Us, and it is quite consistent with the original source. In each match, players must eliminate Investigator L or obtain the Death Note to win. Killer Inside was also released on PS4 and PS5 as a “free” PlayStation Plus game.

Kungfu is unparalleled

Matchless Kungfu has been released from Steam Early Access, an unusual RPG about Chinese martial arts, similar to a cross between Kenshi and Animal Crossing with a turn-based combat system. Players can explore the procedurally generated world to find opponents and teachers, develop various relationships with NPCs, and practice their unique brand of kung fu. Unparalleled Kungfu may appeal to fans of sandboxes that focus on interweaving deep mechanics.

Smurfs – Dreams

The new Smurfs game is essentially Super Mario 3D World without the need for PC emulation. And instead of plumbers, princesses, and Goombas, there are Smurfs. As you might guess from the name, the game is dedicated to dream adventures, giving the developers creative freedom in terms of level design. And the main villain, according to tradition, is the wizard Gargamel.

Zephon

4X strategy from the creators of Warhammer 40,000: Gladius, but now in a completely original post-apocalyptic setting. The world is ruled by mutant animals and robots that have escaped control. Humanity gathered in a few colonies and survived by any means available. Zephon is built on mechanics familiar to the genre, and according to user reviews on Steam, fans of the 4X strategy welcomed the project quite warmly.

Happyhills Murder

Happyhills Murder is a pixelated simulation game about a crazed clown terrorizing the people of a small town. Over 20 levels, players will have to eliminate many stereotypical horror movie characters through various means, including accidents. A game like this may have caused moral panic in the 1980s and 1990s, but now it's just one of thousands of horror games on Steam.
