5 new games on Steam you might have missed
With dozens of games released on Steam every day, it's nearly impossible to keep track of all the releases to find hidden gems. That's why PC Gamer has compiled a selection of 5 games worth playing that you might have missed.
Kill time: Revive
Many people haven't even heard of 1995's Killing Time: a Doom clone that was originally released on the 3DO platform before receiving a PC port – just in the year of Quake and Duke Nukem 3D. The game doesn't look very good from the outside, but it hides some interesting details. For example, cutscenes with real actors were uncommon in shooters of the time, and the 1930s setting was certainly rare. The re-release of the game from Nightdive is perfectly suited for modern systems thanks to 144 fps support and full mouse viewport integration.
sniper assassin
Sniper Killer is like Sniper Elite… But the player must kill innocent people. It's not surprising that the project was released by publisher Torture Star Video, which is famous for its low-poly horror films. In addition to being a sniper, players will also have to try their hand at playing the role of a detective trying to find a serial killer and unravel his motives. Recommended for fans of Bloodwash and other trashy horror movies.
Drova
Pixel action-RPG focuses on player exploration and decision-making. Drova is inspired by “the mystery of Celtic mythology” but follows in the footsteps of Fallout New Vegas. In the sense that the player is not the chosen one or the hero but simply a random person who must survive in a harsh (albeit beautiful) world. The open world is entirely handcrafted, the plot branches according to decisions made, and players can join one of many warring factions. The game also does not hold the user's hand, so remember that you will have to wander for a long time and find the next path in the story.
Eden Crafters
Eden Crafters is a sandbox survival game about turning uninhabited planets into habitable places. And this means only one thing: climate change, is only possible with the help of complex machines that require automation and logistics. Eden Crafters also offers familiar survival elements, terrain and mounts. The project combines many things that fans of the genre love and know, but, unlike most similar projects on Steam, it has collected a lot of positive reviews. According to the developers, the early access period will last one year.
Yugo: game no
A fun mini-game about driving on Balkan-inspired roads. Or rather, the routes connecting Kosovo and Montenegro. The name “not a game” refers to the absence of any goals: Yugo is dedicated to virtual trips with friends to the sound of the radio or in soothing silence. The game is called Yugo not just because you have to drive through former Yugoslav territory; The player's vehicle is the infamous Outpost Yugo, potentially one of the worst vehicles in history.
