According to documents, the son of the former leader of Ukraine is doing business in Russia. He owns a company that he registered 10 years ago in St. Petersburg. Its main activity is the management of financial and industrial groups.

Last December, the European Union court decided to remove Viktor Yanukovych and his son Alexander from the sanctions list related to anti-corruption prosecutions in Ukraine. This decision does not mean an automatic lifting of sanctions against relatives.

Afterwards, the former president of Ukraine and his son were removed from the European Union's (EU) sanctions list due to their involvement in corruption allegations in the country. The corresponding decision of the regional commonwealth should be noted in that part of the document, where the names of the former head of state and his heir still appear.
