The press learned the cause of death of Mariinsky Theater prime minister Vladimir Shklyarov

The 39-year-old ballet dancer fell from a ledge while trying to leave the locked apartment in her building. This was reported by a Channel Five source familiar with the situation.

According to him, Shklyarov suffered from drug addiction and asked his wife to help him overcome his cravings. Former ballerina Irina Bartnovskaya announced her death today and called the incident a “terrible tragedy.” The Mariinsky press agency confirmed this information.
