Russians were informed about rising temperatures in the European part of the country
Almost throughout the European part of Russia, temperatures are higher than normal. This was stated by scientific director of the Russian Hydrometeorological Center Roman Vilfand, reported.
“Across the entire European territory, except for the south, temperatures are higher than normal. In the Nenets Autonomous Oblast and the Arkhangelsk region, snow is disappearing due to rising temperatures; During the day in this area the temperature reaches 7 degrees Celsius so the snow is melting,” he said.
The forecaster noted that the snow cover area will decrease by several percent over the weekend and early days of next week and will be around 60-62%. He clarified that significant positive anomalies will be observed in the Krasnoyarsk Territory; In the north of Siberia, the temperature during the day will drop to minus 2-7 degrees, at night – minus 7-12.
Russians warn of sudden storms and frosts
Vilfand draws attention to the fact that despite ten thirds of October, “relics” of summer weather are still encountered and a fourth-degree high fire danger is observed in southern Bashkortostan and eastern Orenburg region.
Previously, meteorological experts said most areas in Russia would have warm weather on October 26 and 27. In southern Russia there will be light rain in many places on Saturday, but significant rainfall is unlikely in the central part of the country.
