Russians are asked to avoid traveling to Amsterdam
Russian citizens are advised not to travel to Amsterdam due to attacks on soccer fans of an Israeli club that occurred there. This was reported by the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands.
“In connection with the unrest that occurred on November 7, the Russian Embassy in the Netherlands advises Russian citizens not to travel to Amsterdam in the coming days and those already in the city to exercise caution,” the representative the embassy wrote on the notice. X social network
On the night of November 8, a series of attacks occurred in Amsterdam against fans of the Israeli football team Maccabi, who came to watch a Europa League match. According to media reports, at least 10 Israeli citizens were injured. There were also clashes between pro-Palestinian activists and police in various areas of the city, including near the Amsterdam Arena. During the riot, 62 people were detained.
