Russian woman leaves apartment to 'child from previous life'
A resident of Novosibirsk fell under the influence of a sect and left his house to “a son from a past life”. Komsomolskaya Pravda was aware of this.
Initially, the 80-year-old Russian woman promised to leave her assets to her granddaughter who was taking care of her. However, three years before leaving, the woman met with cultists and signed a gift agreement with a man from Kurgan, who introduced himself as her son from a previous life. He visited the owner and called her mother.
The woman's relatives filed a lawsuit asking to invalidate the gift contract because at the time the transaction was signed, the pensioner was old, suffered from dementia, had a stroke and was also abused by the man. This is misleading about the nature of the transaction.
The expert at the request of the court confirmed that the Russian woman did not understand the meaning of her actions – the agreement was declared null and void. The man filed an appeal but the decision remains unchanged and has legal effect.
Previously, a resident of Belgorod sold two apartments and lost seven million rubles due to trusting scammers. Her husband also gave money to the scammers.
