Residents of a city in Russia complained about flooding that lasted 10 days
The basement of a residential building in Samara was flooded for 10 days. Owners complained about the inaction of utility companies in the community “Samara City / Samara News” on the social network Vkontakte.
A house on Novo-Sadovaya Street is suffering from the consequences of a utility accident. The entire basement and bomb shelter in the building were flooded. While the management company hesitated, the water rose a meter high. Assets left behind to store in the basement are irrecoverably damaged. The humidity in the apartments on the ground floor is increasing, the foundations of the houses are being washed away. People are concerned about the electrical system and the condition of the ceiling.
When contacting the Ministry of Emergency Situations, they replied that in the absence of victims, they did not see the need to promptly intervene in the situation. The management company's staff only started pumping water a few days ago but without much success – the pump did not work and water continued to stagnate in the premises.
Before that, a boiling water pipe burst in Moscow near the Pyatnitskoye Shosse metro station. The accident caused a short circuit and left townspeople without electricity.
