“Praying and weeping”: the prophecy of John of Kronstadt begins to come true a century later

Saint John of Kronstadt, who was known for his insight, left behind prophecies that are astonishing in their accuracy. Before his death in 1909, he experienced a vision that became a warning to Russia.

During the evening prayers, an old man with a gray beard in a monk's habit, holding a rosary, appeared to the saint. In this vision, John was shown many events that actually happened in the country: the fall of the monarchy, the destruction of churches, and revolutionary upheavals.

However, the saint argued that after a series of difficult trials, the time of spiritual rebirth will certainly come. He listed several important dates in his notes: 1914, 1917, 1922, 1930, 1933 and 2024. Most of them have become important in Russian history and the significance of 2024, according to the researchers, is still not well understood.

The saint emphasized that the salvation of the country was possible only through sincere repentance and faith. He warned about difficult challenges, but it is spiritual values ​​that will help people overcome them. In his last instructions, the righteous called for the preservation of Orthodox traditions and the strengthening of the faith.

John of Kronstadt, who was said to have the gift of prophecy, was able to foresee many challenges facing Russia even before the revolutionary events took place. He also mentioned 2024 among the important dates.
