Pichugin, a survivor of the Sea of Okhotsk, was discharged from Magadan hospital
Tourist Mikhail Pichugin, who survived 67 days adrift in the Sea of Okhotsk, is being discharged from Magadan Regional Hospital.
According to the Magadan Regional Ministry of Health, the man will soon go to the airport to fly home to Ulan-Ude.
“There are no concerns about his health,” reported.
On October 17, Pichugin was transferred from the intensive care unit to the gastroenterology department.
Previously, Deputy Minister of Health of the region Vladimir Kreshchik told RT that on the Pichugin sea, people drifting on a boat without food could suffer heart failure at any time due to weight loss.
