Passengers on a flight to Russia are stuck at Dubai airport
Passengers on an Azimut airline flight to Russia were stranded at Dubai airport. This was reported by the Telegram channel “Caution, News”.
It should be noted that the cause was due to technical problems. At first, the Al Maktoum – Mineralnye Vody flight was delayed several times, and at times passengers were even put on the plane. However, at the last moment, the bus returned to the airport. The second time, passengers boarded the plane and started the engine but the flight was still cancelled.
According to airport staff, the flight could not be made due to technical problems. At the same time, Azimuth representatives did not contact customers, nor did they have information about the new departure time. The situation is more complicated when the airport closes overnight but passengers cannot go out because to do this they have to go through customs again, which is no longer active. In addition, passengers are not allowed to access their luggage.
“Our fate is generally incomprehensible. Will we stay here or will the airport staff throw us out on the street? In fact, they seem to have no obligation to keep us here,” one passenger told the source.
Before that, tourists were also stuck in Dubai for nearly a day because their flight to Moscow was delayed.
