Simonyan explains why baptism is not a custom among Orthodox Christians

Margarita Simonyan was once again suspected of belonging to the Catholic Church. In her Telegram channel, she displayed a message that read: “10/20/24. In the program “Sunday evening with Vladimir Solovyov” in your speech you made the sign of the Catholic cross, but not the Christian cross. Be careful!

RT's editor-in-chief corrected the author of the message, noting that it may have had a non-Orthodox meaning.

“I have explained many times and will explain again: I am Armenian, Gregorian, which means I belong to the Armenian Apostolic Church. This is how we are baptized. Thank you for your comment,” Simonyan wrote.

She has previously commented on computer glitches around the world. Simonyan believes that in Russia there are “no failures” thanks to domestic software. RT's editor-in-chief noted that it “although sometimes unbalanced, is its own thing.”
